Fall 2026: Public Life Drawing Open Studio

Join a welcoming community of artists this fall at Sheridan College’s Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design for our Life Drawing Studio. This uninstructed studio offers a dedicated space for artists to practice and deepen their figure-drawing skills while working from live models.

The studio will run for six sessions, with models posing in a range of formats—from quick gesture drawings to longer, sustained poses—allowing participants to explore movement, anatomy, and observation at their own pace.

Studios are equipped with drawing donkeys and boards and are maintained as solvent-free environments. Participants are required to bring their own preferred drawing materials. Please note that no formal instruction is provided; this is an open studio experience designed for independent practice and peer community.

Please note: No instruction will be provided

Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

*Please note, these sessions are not drop-in, and are only open to registered participants.
